Preseason Training 2021

To go registration for the 2021 Preseason Training series.

FCA Lacrosse is excited to offer a skill-building series for lacrosse players (1st through 8th grades) at any level (beginners through experienced).

The training sessions are designed to build stick skills, develop movement skills, prepare for March 20 evaluations, and be fun. (Preseason Training PDF Flier)

Description About the Sessions

We will focus on stickwork, ball handling, building transition, and small-sided situations.

Who

Open to boys, 1st through 8th grades, at any level. This training series is open to boys regardless of spring- or Club-team affiliation. Players will be divided each clinic by age and ability. All players need to provide their own equipment. *If your is brand new to the sport, please let us know (fcalaxchicagowest@gmail.com) if he needs to borrow equipment/stick/both.

When

Saturday, 3/6/21         4:00-5:30pm

Saturday, 3/13/21      3:00-4:30pm

Where

Wheaton Academy stadium turf field (outside), located @ 900 Prince Crossing Rd, West Chicago.

Fee

$30 per player for both training sessions (3 hours of training)

Registration

Registration available through Warrior Youth Athletics > FCA Lacrosse tab > Preseason Training 2021.

Notes

  • All participants will need: helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, and a stick. We can supply equipment to players without, up to a point. Please contact us in advance if your player is interested, but needs equipment.
  • Players may wear non-metal cleats or tennis shoes on the turf field.
  • These sessions prepare players for the FCA Spring-team Evaluations (hold on Sat, 3/20/2021).
