Fall Specialty Clinics

This 2016 program is CLOSED– registration information will be posted in August 2017.

Who: Open to players going into 2nd through 8th grades. No experience is needed. Players will be divided each day by age and ability. All players need to provide their own equipment. All players will receive an FCA Lacrosse t-shirt.

When: Saturdays (2016: Sept 10, Sept 24, and Oct 1) from 8:30 am – 10:30 am

Where: Performance Trust Field at Wheaton Academy

Cost: $25 per player / per session OR $60 per player for all 3 sessions

Schedule:

Saturday, September 10th – Shooting, Stickhandling, Passing, Dodging
This clinic will include: shooting technique, shooting drills, dodging and passing – all using both hands. Key focus: Proper stick technique.

• Saturday, September 24th – Transition and Unsettled Situations
This clinic will focus on: offensive and defensive transition and unsettled situations. Key focus: Lacrosse IQ.

• Saturday, October 1st – Half-field and Settled-situation Offense and Defense
Offense – 1 v 1 dodging and team offensive concepts.
Defense – 1 v 1 play, slide schemes, and recovery.
Key focus: Individual and team half-field concepts.
